T'other day I had to paint.
I had a serious case of painter's itch.
So I grabbed the very large canvas that I had used on the 'Introduction To Abstraction' workshop at The Steel Rooms.
I love working on previously painted canvases as you find unexpected layers underneath and the surface texture has already been built up.
There's still a long way to go, I haven't touched on the top right hand corner section yet, and there's more work to do on the abstract background.
This is the stage where I have to keep popping in, adding a bit there, taking a bit away here.
It's a bit like playing chess against yourself but with paint!
Off for a lie down now...!

I am also having painter's itch from last few days and started painting over, just like you, on a old canvas yesterday. But is no where near finished yet. You are so productive Mrs B. X

Deletewe used to have a large house rabbit and he would always try to see what we were preparing in the kitchen! this lovely wip reminds me of him caught in the act he is long gone but reminders like this are nice to see....special painting...xxx

DeleteI love your hares (which sounds a bit weird when you say it out loud). Why is he looking so anxious? Has he seen something nasty in the woodshed??
