Can A Girl Have Too Many Brooches?

  1. Not if they are that cute! Put them all on a woolen cap like my mom did with her Christmas brooches, hilarious!!! Quite heavy though!

  3. That is a bit like asking can a girl have too many bits of mouldering old lace, or can a girl have too many wooden cotton reels. It's a strange concept, but it has been scientifically proven to be a load of old codswallop.

    1. Thank you for your support with my brooch obsession!
I adore the word 'cods wallop' and is vastly under used in my humble opinion x

  5. Mmmm at the risk of being ostracised from your blog, I'm not into brooches, but then who am I to speak... she of the boxes of teacups and rupert books. x

  6. Love a brooch, me. Not only can a girl not have too many, but one actually *needs* to own them in quantity, as they have a habit of disappearing onto items of clothing. In order to be able to replenish one's current outfit conveniently with a suitable brooch without necessitating a rummage in the depths of one's wardrobe, a bare minimum of ten brooches not currently in wear at any one time is recommended.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, just a minute and I'll put the kettle on.
Custard cream or bourbon?
