We spent a lovely week in Whitby over the Easter hols and we were lucky to find that it was also the Whitby Goth weekend.
It's always a great atmosphere, and just look at this little chap I met!

Watch out!
The pirates have landed!

Signs like this make me very happy!

I hope that you all had an adventure-filled holiday chucks!

Treasure Hunting...

Sometimes you just need to spend a day with your friends and do some serious vintage hunting!
Where better than the cavernous Hemswell Antiques centre!
(I didn't realise until just now that it's Europe's largest, no wonder we can never get round it all in a day!)

Can you see my chum hiding?!?

Yes, there was actual meat paste from the 1960's in those jars!
(And no, I didn't buy them!!!!)

You never know what you might see!

I really wanted to bring him home!

There is inspiration EVERYWHERE!

Time for a cuppa and a slice of cake...
Hope you enjoyed our pootle around!

'Into The Woods' Group Exhibition:

When I was invited to contribute some work for the 'Into The Woods' exhibition at the very lovely Unit Twelve I was thrilled to say the least.
I also feel very honoured to be showing my work with such amazing artists!

One of the pieces that will be exhibited is 'The Magical Forest' painted collage.

This is an extract of 'Midsummer', a mixed media concertina book.

I've also produced digitally printed scrolls of one of my concertinas called 'The Enchanted Forest' (this is a small detail from it as it is very long!)

I hope you like them!
Wishing you a very relaxing Sunday evening chucks x
