Pinny Bird

'My Pinny Bird' is a painting for my exhibition that is fast approaching (eek!)

It's about a girl who is never lonely because she has a blackbird nesting in her pinny.
I'm quite proud of her feet!

  2. Love it too. I like the effect around the head.

I had a baby grackle for a few months. I released him in the yard when he was grown and he flew down to meet me from the tree tops every day. I was never lonely with grackle around. Then he matured and joined a large flock. He would still drop down to visit but eventually and inevitably he stopped coming back. It was a bit lonely after that.

  6. I think I might want to be this girl. The pocket in my apron is feeling really empty and lonely right now.

Would you like to make a comment chuck?
I'd love to hear your thoughts, just a minute and I'll put the kettle on.
Custard cream or bourbon?
