Vintage Joy!

As you probably know, I do love a bit of vintage, and here is my Vintage Girl Gang pin by the rather fab Miss Pigeon Vintage herself.

They are limited edition and rather lovely indeed!

And talking of vintage, fancy a pootle around the quirky and characterful town of Pickering?

We enjoyed a steam train journey there from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

Mini Goth doc's!

The train carriages were stunning.

Pickering has such charm...

The church of St Peter and St Paul has the most amazing Mediaeval wall paintings inside.

JCS Collectables is full of beautiful vintage clothes and WW2 period uniforms, a real shop of temptation!

There were some really fascinating pieces there.

Look at that gorgeous label!

Birdgate Chocolatiers is completely unbelievable, their chocolate creations are absolutely stunning!

Hubby bought me this one!

Bless him!

After all that, it's time for a cuppa methinks...

  3. We went to Pickering when we were on holiday in Whitby a couple of years ago and bought some amazing vintage bits and pieces. It was super. We keep trying to get to the 49s weekend there but sadly haven't managed it yet. Your vintage pin is great, lovely picture!

Would you like to make a comment chuck?
I'd love to hear your thoughts, just a minute and I'll put the kettle on.
Custard cream or bourbon?
