Today I started preparations for my workshop at Hope and Elvis next Spring.

Alopecia Chic:

Yesterday I went to see Tracey my hairdresser, not really knowing what to expect.

Because I thought it would all have to go this time I really didn't care what she did with it, which felt very strange because I normally have my hair trimmed about twice a year.

It felt quite liberating and Tracey turned into Edwina Scissor Hands.

How on Earth she's hidden my baldy bits I have no idea, and I will probably lose more but then Tracey and I will have more fun!

Feel a bit Betty Boop (with a scalp that feels like sand paper because there's loads of black stubble...but that could be a good sign, maybe.)

Charity Ch- reasure Of The Month!

Now I'm not the world's greatest fan of clowns, but I spied him floundering at the bottom of the 50p bin.

I wasn't going to admit to you why I bought him initially, but I am ashamed to say it was to chop him up for the gorgeous 1950's fabric scraps.

But then clowns can turn nasty, can't they?

Vintage A- Fair!

The Lindsey Lodge Hospice held a forties inspired swinging vintage fair today and we all had a boogie- woogie-tastic time!

Luckily, today was pay day!

This lovely stall full of hand made lovliness was called 'Letty, Little & Good', after her grand mother who was called Letitia.

(Great name, eh!)

I couldn't believe how busy it was and there were lots of treasures to tempt and delight.

Many were dressed in their vintage finery.

And we were even treated to forties music, starring Forces sweetheart Cherie and Wireless Tunes.
