I Love Leigh-On-Sea!

It was the perfect day for a walk during that lovely lull,
the betwixt and between time of Christmas and New Year.

There was a lovely low light.

A lot of the houses were decorated beautifully.

Even the post boxes had been yarn bombed!

Leigh-On-Sea has a quirky, arty atmosphere, full of charity shops, independent boutiques and bustling cafes.

Mini Goth and I took our new boots for an outing!

And...
I even found another giant plastic ice cream for the collection!

  2. Are we talking Leigh on Sea, Essex? Never been myself. But then I've got Lee on the Solent close by when I'm 'home' though to the best of my knowledge it doesn't have a large plastic ice cream cone !!

I love how you can identify places by the plastic ice creams! Much more interesting than boring signs don't you think! X

  3. What wonderful yarn bombing - I can't see how local councils see this as graffiti - it brings joy and whimsy to all. Love it and Happy New Year to you all xx

  6. Looks lovely, so peaceful and timeless. And the post boxes!! How sweet! Have you thought about making your photos X-large in Blogger? Someone suggested that to me when I started blogging, for those of us looking at small screens.

The black and white gingham and lace has given me inspiration. Love that look with the boots!

    1. Thanks so much for the suggestion Val, on this post I was trying out my lap top instead of my usual app but I shall see if I can use extra large photos on my template.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, just a minute and I'll put the kettle on.
Custard cream or bourbon?
