This morning I had a little tidy up, so before it gets trashed again I thought I'd record this moment for posterity!
Fancy a little tour?
My studio is teeny tiny, so it won't take long and I've put kettle on!
It's amazing how many nooks and crannies a lass can fit in one room!
My paints have to stay organised at all times though.
Otherwise, if I'm in the 'flow' and I can't grab the colour I want straight away I get really mardy!
The studio parrot, he only needs the occasional dust, very low maintenance!
Handy dolls' house scrips and scraps storage unit!
Oo I can hear the kettle whistling....custard cream or bourbon?
X
I think its just packed with your wonderful creativity... just perfect xx
ReplyDeleteThank you most kindly, what a lovely thing to say chuck x
DeleteBourbon please!
ReplyDeleteMine's a heap! Must flourish the Hoover!!
Oh, and I dare not mention the state of the kitchen floor!
Don't you worry, I promise you mine will be dreadful in a couple of days....there'll be no photographs then! x
DeleteWhy ask, it's a bourbon every time! I'm just getting in the car now.... x
ReplyDeleteTee! Hee!
DeleteKettle's on! x
What a lovely muddle of fun... sending mutual troll love (they get such a bad press) no Garibaldi?. xx
ReplyDeleteApologies Ethel!
DeleteI'll pop to the shops straight away! x
Just delightful! Love the wooden Fischer Price (?) dog! <3
ReplyDeleteThanks Jandi, he's one of my treasured possessions. x
DeleteI do fancy a tour! It's mini perfection and very inspiational. I know what yo mean about organised paints. They have to be ready to go at a monents notice! Thanks you for sharing your space. Right, I'll have a bourbon and I'll bring some Welsh Cakes too.xx
ReplyDeleteoo I don't think I've ever tried a Welsh cake, thank you chuck! x
Deletelove every nook and cranny. those brooches suspended from the bit of crochet lace, though, are my favorite!
ReplyDeleteThanks Heidi Sue, I would lose such little bits and bobs if they weren't on display! x
DeleteLove the dolls house storage. I'll keep that in mind when my little one grows out of hers. (Mines a bourbon please)
ReplyDeleteThanks Carrie, it's really handy with lots of room inside x
DeleteSuch an inspirational space! Makes me want to redo mine. I see you didn't save us an of Uncle Joe's Mint Balls though! :(
ReplyDeleteHa! Ha! Sorry Patty' but there's always a secret stash of goodies hidden in a nook or cranny! X
DeleteWhat a lovely studio to work in, I love how you have a low maintenance parrot that only needs the occasional dust too haha :D The dolls house full of lots of bits and bobs is great too.
ReplyDeleteSuper lovely :)
Jodie, A Textile Perspective x
Thanks so much Jodie, I do love my parrot! X
DeleteI'll have a bourbon, thank you, while I keep looking at all your intriguing paraphernalia! I wouldn't get any work done in there because I'd be playing with things and rearranging all the time. I love the troll dolls - sadly, I no longer have my purple-haired one called Lorelei, but I still have a troll cow named Larence (like Clarence without the C. I don't know where that name came from - I was only 11 at the time). Anyway, I can see where you get your inspiration - it's an inspiring studio!
ReplyDeleteA www thank you for sharing the troll love xxx
DeleteI always enjoy a nose around a maker's workspace and yours is no exception. It's a good mix of supplies and the bits and pieces you love to have around. I especially love your reuse of items such as the child's toy for your brushes and the doll's house for bits and pieces. Thanks for the tour💖
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure chuck, thank you kindly x
DeleteI'm loving the photos, especially the little troll. I spent many happy hours as a child playing with the trolls. In fact, I still have some and will never part with them!
ReplyDeleteI was given the baby one by a good friend and they are both very happy together! X
DeleteSo much deliciousness in your studio! Love how you have used the dollhouse and your paints make me swoon!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Linda, I'm so glad I shared my space with you lovely folk in blog land x
DeleteYou've got some lovely bits & bobs there missus! My favourite is the dolls' house scrips and scraps storage unit - would love one of those!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, it was only a tenner in a charity shop. At the time I didn't know what I wanted it for but I had to have it! X
