Studio Log Book...

At the start of lockdown last year I decided that I wanted to keep a 'studio log book' (this sounds a little bit grand I know!)

It's been so helpful to keep a note of colour mixes and the little discoveries that can be made when you paint a picture.

Im really going to try and keep this up, do you keep some kind of record of your creative work?

  1. a nature journal but I have lapsed, didn't do April yet, must put that right! It's good for us to have these things going on I think they keep the creative flow going.

  2. I’m liking the look of your log book. I’ve always been fascinated by artists sketchbooks and sample books. I have so many books on the go I meet myself coming back. I’ve tried keeping everything in one book and try having different books for different things and end up with them all over the house.
Your logbook is one I’d love to get my hands on heehee.

  4. I think writing blogs is my way of recording things that I do, or rather interesting things that I do.
Yes keeping a track of the paint mixes will help in the future.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, just a minute and I'll put the kettle on.
