I do love this about teaching Fine Art, but I thought I would just scroll through a few photos from the Easter holidays with a nice cup of tea.
Care to join me?
Mini Goth and I spent the perfect afternoon on a rather chilly day holed up in W.Hamond's tea room.
Sketchbooks at the ready with a big slice of cake.
Gazing out of the window, just watching the world go by...
I loved sketching the folk that stopped to peer into the jeweller's window across the way.
And we were even given a sweetie when we finally left to face the world again!
That looks like a lovely way to spend a chilly afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI think it really is my favourite mother-daughter time xxxx
DeleteOh my - a piece of that cake please. I'll have it with "Madame Flavour" tea - orange/choc/ceylon. I don't think you can get that yet in UK so perhaps you can have your cake with Twinings Lady Grey. If only...........it's long way from Oz to you.
ReplyDeleteSeriously - thank you for your lovely blog. You are an inspiration.
Oo I'll have to research that tea, sounds fab!
DeleteAnd thankyou for such lovely comments, that really means such a lot x
Love your sketch. Must just be free and easy and carry a sketch book with me at all times. ( such a scary prospect!)
