Even though the weather forecast was appalling, we decided to venture out on the last Saturday of the summer hols.
I've never been to Bridlington, and I am rather partial to a seaside town on a rainy day, so I was very excited indeed.
What I wasn't prepared for was the multitude of giant plastic ice cream cones that inhabited Bridlington.
(Some of you may know that I am also rather partial to those too!)
There were so many that I became a tad giddy.
In fact there are so many photos that I wouldn't be in the least bit offended if you went to make a cup of tea whilst scrolling through...
Please indulge me...
There were the classic ones...
The exotic looking ones...
And the downright scary ones...
(Oh, and a doughnut, just for good measure!)
I do have more photos and tales to tell you about, but I think after all that ice cream I'll just go and have a little lie down for a while!

Wow thats a lot of giant icecreams. I think you have inspired me to look for them next time i'm at the seaside.:)
ReplyDeleteIt's a bit of an obsession but it is amazing how many different ones there are! Happy giant ice cream hunting! X
DeleteI had never noticed how many big cones there are lolol
ReplyDeleteNorth Beach used to be good for finding stones with perfect round holes in them although last week I walked the length and found only a handful!
Word must have got round lol
Do you know, I have never found one of those stones, if I ever go back I'll have to look for one....I won't take them all though! X
DeleteWhat an amazing variety - they're almost all different! Who makes all these things?
ReplyDeleteI would love to visit the place where they're made, that would be amazing! X
DeleteHilarious!! Never been to Bridlingorn myself and I'm clearly the poorer for it!!!
