Today I was fed up of being sensible.
I had paper work to do and dust to dispose of.
But instead I decided to play.
It was great to just paint and stitch and make it up as I went along.
As you can tell, she's not finished and I'm still working out her feet on some scrap paper.
She might have a boat on her head.
Then again, she might not.
She seems a bit wistful...maybe she's fed up of being a grown up too!
She's pondering how to itch an itch without her arms! Being a grown-up is pants! I vote not to be! X
ReplyDeleteI find that arms are so last season! Ha!
DeleteI join your vote Miss T, being grown up is so bloom in' boring! X
I know that feeling! She's lovely and I like the idea of a boat on her head. Have a great weekend.

Cheers chuck!
DeleteYou have a fabby weekend too, filled with un- house work - related fun! X
Well, I have a goldfish on my head in the collage on my banner (cleverly sort of hidden so as not to confuse those who missed the original post). A goldfish or a boat make ideal hats because rain does not soak through and make them limp and cold. Of course, the same can be said for a tureen. Anyway, it's lovely to see her in-progress!
ReplyDeleteA tureen!
DeleteNow there's a thought!
How nice to know that there are others that understand me!
Hubby smiles at me sometimes in that slightly frightened way when I start chatting about me work!

Being a grown-up is very over-rated...
ReplyDeleteShe's lovely! xxx
Thanks chuck!
DeleteI really enjoyed my play day, I may never return to adulthood again! X
I love her! And I'm tired of being a grown up too. Perhaps we should start a revolution, refusing to be adults any more...
ReplyDeleteSounds good to me Sharmon! X
DeleteNever grow up ..... that's what I say! x
ReplyDeleteThat could be our club motto! X

I hVent made up my mind about which sea faring vessel yet. However I am seriously fickle and could change my mind at any time! X
DeleteKnow what you mean... it's when your son goes out on a Saturday night and you're faced with an old episode of Midsummer murders you suddenly remember when you were his age leaving the house at 9pm to go out when you were young and your parents saying 'Good God you going out at this time it's nearly time to go to bed!' when did we grow up? xx
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, I couldn't think of anything worse nowadays! Where's me cocoa! X
DeleteI was going to make a pithy comment about arms and itches, but hey ho some one beat me to it! Being a grown up is seriously overrated.
ReplyDeleteHer arms just seemed to get in the way somehow...and I love pithy comments! (In fact, I love the word pithy!)
DeleteHope you don think I'm taking the pith! Ha!
