Autumn Is In The Air...

It always amazes me how the seasons creep into my paintings.
Yesterday I was having a little run through in preparation for my Abstraction Weekend at Hope and Elvis in December, and when I'd finished it struck me how autumnal this piece looked.
I love the word 'autumnal'.
Apart from a few bits and bobs, I think I'm nearly ready for the crazy arty weekend, (not that I'm over excited or anything!)

    Oh yes, the sky was that shade of grey yesterday but today is bright & fresh with the sun shining on the leaves making them golden.
