I feel very lucky because we have a field of rape right behind our house.
I know a lot of people don't like it (or, should I say, it doesn't like them) but fortunately we're not affected by the pesky evil hay fever.
In the evening it glows and I just can't seem to get enough of this colour.
It even seems to be seeping into my paintings at the moment!
And I'm a sucker for cow parsley, it reminds me that summer isn't that far away...
Amazing photos. Fields of bright yellow rape do make the landscape look fabulous, don't they? And I love cow parsley too! xxx
ReplyDeleteSneezing, eyes streaming, must go, aaaatchooooo x
ReplyDeleteBless you! X
DeleteYes, we are surrounded by fields with rape crops, glowing yellow - I also love cow parsley. It reminds me of walks to my grandparents house along a windy country lane in spring/summer. )

this field makes me so happy, it's not so gorgeous when it's the year for potatoes though! X
ReplyDeleteThis is my favourite time of year, I love the bright sunshiney fields in the distance, I just start my allergy treatments in March so I can relish the fields and flowers in April and May! ;-) I love the cow parsely, I have a giant floor cushion made with a cow parsley print fabric, so pretty! ReplyDeleteSo glad that you can enjoy the flowers!
