Seaside Journallings...

I must be thinking about the holidays now that we have a bit of sunshine!

I like to have my journal on the side as I'm painting, that way I can use up any spare paint and it helps me with ideas for future paintings.

I think there is something quite liberating when you work in your journal, and often little ideas that have been floating in your subconscious seem to appear.

(Sometimes that's not a good thing!)

The lovely old faded tickets were a kindly present from the very wonderful

grrl + dog.

I love her work and her honesty, she is one of my blog heroes.
