My (sort of) Party Dress!

Not only have I been inspired by The Great British Sewing Bee but also by my bloggy friends' stitchery pokery.
Shout out to Miss Hettie Brown ,Miss Lazy Daisy Jones and Mrs Bobo Bun!
Compared to the amazing dress making that I am witnessing on the blogosphere at the mo I am a wee bit embarrassed to show my efforts!
(Many thanks Debs for letting me draw around your v expensive dress by the way!)
But if it doesn't fall apart by Saturday then perhaps I shall wear my little pinny with pride at Hope and Elvis.
PS: Hope you feel better for the big day Ginny...eat lots of oranges (and chocolate!)

  1. I love, love, love this dress and it is certainly as lovely as anything else I have seen in bloggy land - look forward to seeing you model it! Love the green floral fabric so much - where did you find it?

I'd love to hear your thoughts, just a minute and I'll put the kettle on.
Custard cream or bourbon?
